About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Shift Operator 4th Class to contribute to the safe and effective operation of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will provide a full range of services relating to day-to-day maintenance and project-related activities for our facilities, including heating, air conditioning, power, and water generation units, as well as general maintenance.

The successful candidate will ensure all functions are completed in accordance with legislation, established standards, policies, and exhibit sound professional judgment and initiative while working within our Mission, Vision, and Strategic Directions. You will also incorporate into daily practice the Core Competencies and Values of our organization.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Certification as a Power Engineer 4th Class.
  • Ability to travel to other sites and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Five (5) years' experience in plant operations.
  • Knowledge of building code standards and OH&S.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Hours and Compensation

This is a Casual Relief position with a competitive hourly rate of $28.79.
