Job Title: Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Thrive Therapy. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with clients to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to clients in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech-language tests and examinations to assess clients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication and swallowing needs
  • Provide therapy to clients in a private practice setting, including individual and group sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the province or territory
  • Experience working with clients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
