About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Craftsman to join our team at Skyline Furniture. As an Upholstery Craftsman, you will be responsible for restoring and refurbishing furniture to its original glory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restoration and Refurbishment: Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts to ensure the longevity of our products.
  • Upholstery and Fabrication: Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Finishing Touches: Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add a touch of elegance to our furniture pieces.
  • Frame Repair and Refinishing: Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to restore their original beauty.
  • Operational Efficiency: Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.
  • Attention to Detail: Garnish the bottom and the back of a seat with interoven rattan to add a touch of sophistication to our furniture pieces.
