About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Daybreak. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to a high standard.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring that they receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
