Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Cable Installer to join our team at NETECH CABLING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and completing test and service reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Equipment: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Test and Troubleshoot: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
  • Complete Reports: Complete and maintain test and service reports, including work assignments and task completion.
  • Work Safely: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, and connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
  • Install Internet Access: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Maintain and Repair Systems: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems, including faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
