We are seeking an experienced IAM Solution Architecture and Engineering Director to join Scotiabank's organization.

As the Director, you will be responsible for providing direction, oversight, and strategic management of our global IAM solutions portfolio. Your primary objective will be to ensure the utmost security and efficiency in access control.

The Director will be accountable for ensuring the resiliency and software currency of these IAM systems, including:

  • Vendor and contract management
  • Infrastructure management and service resiliency

You will collaborate with various business lines, IT support functions, and Cyber Security functions to ensure IAM meets business needs.

We are looking for a leader who enjoys the challenges of working on different types of projects (from large complex to simple) and possesses excellent people leadership skills, managing 20+ team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience architecting, developing, integrating, implementing, and managing complex solutions and large IT teams
  • Experience with Virtual Directory Services, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management

The successful candidate will possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills to deliver strong business-focused presentations and have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP would be an asset.
