We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and services.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and services.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in primary care medicine.
- Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Language: English.
