About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catering Service Manager to join our team at Coast Hotels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to meet their needs.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our catering services.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Event Management: Manage events with precision and attention to detail to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Benefits: Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, life insurance, and other benefits.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
