Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into logistics operations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available when needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff to improve their performance.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring that all activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, initiative, organized, reliable, and a team player.
