Job Title: Cost Accountant/SAP Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant/SAP Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for monitoring unit cost variance, implementing cost standards for materials and labor, and preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze unit cost variance to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor to optimize production costs
- Prepare and review cost of goods sold and production reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile beginning raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished-goods stock to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Develop and maintain documentation for master data creation to ensure seamless data integration
- Assist teams with data-related aspects of acquisition integrations to ensure smooth business operations
- Attend sales and operations meetings to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Evaluate, adapt, and maintain standard costing in SAP to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Complete quarterly evaluation of inventory and costing list by business unit to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience in a large manufacturing company
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP software and proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with multiple departments
