We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Infrastructure Engineering to lead our Infrastructure Engineering division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic integration and management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the successful delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead, develop, and manage a team of Cloud Platform & DevOps professionals, ensuring their growth aligns with our business needs.
- Strategic Planning: Build and implement roadmaps and requirements for business and engineering initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Infrastructure Management: Assume responsibility for the operations of our data center and colocation facilities, overseeing the use of public/private cloud and virtualization technologies.
- Cloud Security: Maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal availability, engaging in active breach management and mitigation strategies.
- Engineering Processes: Establish engineering processes and define our engineering standards, ensuring high-quality and efficient software delivery.
- DevOps Solutions: Design and implement Continuous Delivery and DevOps solutions/concepts to lead an effective support operation for the company.
- Project Management: Monitor progress and report on the status of DevOps initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of private cloud (OpenStack) and compute, network, and storage enterprise architectures and implementations.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration including data center operations and hardware maintenance.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
