Director of Infrastructure Engineering

We're seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead our Infrastructure Engineering group at Zapier. As the Director of Engineering for Infrastructure, you'll be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams in building, supporting, and evolving our infrastructure, services, and developer tools.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams in executing a multifaceted infrastructure strategy, working closely with managers, peers, and executives.
- Develop and drive the complex tradeoffs between speed, cost, and functionality when building and supporting a platform.
- Manage complex projects with various Agile tools and drive the implementation of the vision.
- Establish data-driven approaches to measuring delivery velocity and quality.
- Participate in and continually improve our incident management process.
- Deep experience in managing complex projects and teams.
- Skilled in building and scaling infrastructure engineering and shared services organizations.
- Experience working with external vendors and planning infrastructure spending.
- Ability to create, evangelize, and execute a vision for production engineering.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
