Key Responsibilities- Pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve timely delivery to customers.
- Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
- Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, with no damaged products and freshest product selection.
- Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service, including supporting issues to resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean-up of spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean and void of debris before packing.
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring all safety pre-inspection checks are completed before use.
- Exhibit behaviors that support the organization's mission and core values.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
- Minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.55. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
