Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting and closing sales to new customers, while maintaining and growing billable value in existing accounts. This position requires a strong understanding of customer needs, pricing, and competition, as well as the ability to develop and implement sound selling strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts
  • Prevent customer account losses and grow billable value by selling new waste streams, services, and products to current and prospective customers
  • Initiate business-to-business sales relationships and manage prospects through sound prospect development plans
  • Develop and implement sound selling strategies to achieve budgeted sales goals
  • Minimize revenue and account losses by maintaining SSDO relationship health standards and diffusing cancellation requests
  • Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Propose customer solutions that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, cold calling, and phone-based prospecting
  • Strong knowledge of customers' needs, pricing, and competition
  • Ability to develop and implement sound selling strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Work Environment

This role primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.

The expected salary range for this position is $65,560 - $78,540, and the specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for commission.
