Gas Bar Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Bar Manager to lead our teams at our Gas Bars located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for our staff and members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team to provide world-class customer service
- Apply industry-leading standards in category management and merchandising
- Communicate with our Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements
- Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits
- Ensure standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Prior experience in managing a high-paced retail business, preferably in a gas bar and/or car wash environment
- Above-average communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- A full commitment to building effective teams
- An aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques
- A firm, yet friendly and sociable personality
- A natural affinity for welcoming our members to the site, while embracing an inclusive environment for our employees
- A strong understanding of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office
- An ability to work well with others
