We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Bar Manager to lead our teams at our Gas Bars located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff and members.
- Represent the Co-op as a brand ambassador.
- Apply industry-leading standards in category management and merchandising.
- Lead the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Achieve financial results and budget objectives.
- Ensure Gas Bar standards are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, and ordering.
- Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies and expectations.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Prior experience in managing a high-paced retail business, preferably in a gas bar and/or car wash environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to building effective teams.
- Aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, and merchandising.
- A firm yet friendly and sociable personality.
- An ability to work well with others.
