Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Michael Peterman. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing childcare services to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-age children. You will be required to create a safe and engaging environment for children, plan and implement activities, and maintain open communication with parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare services to children of various ages
  • Create a safe and engaging environment for children
  • Plan and implement activities that promote learning and development
  • Maintain open communication with parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties during family trips
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
