Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Michael Peterman. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have experience working with children, be able to provide a safe and healthy environment, and be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will also be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals, and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties during family trips.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties during family trips
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a non-smoking environment and be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Public transportation is available.
