Job Summary

Cornerstone Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to coach, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, direct, and support daily branch activities to ensure maximum service levels to members.
  • Lead Financial Services Advisors and other Member Service employees in developing new business relationships and capitalizing on opportunities that enhance relationships with existing members and clients.
  • Effectively manage the consumer loan and investment portfolios for your branches, relating to risk, pricing, diversification, and quality.
  • Work closely with the Director, Retail Banking to prepare budgets, set sales objectives and priorities, as well as operational standards for your team.
  • Manage all department activities to ensure compliance within sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years related lending and formal leadership experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Working knowledge of investment-related products (including Mutual Funds), credit union or other financial institution regulatory requirements, and legislative guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, fostering open communication, valuing opinions and ideas of others, and placing value on the effect of strong time management, a commitment to excellence, and putting members first.
