As the Manager, Financial Services, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, directing, and supporting daily branch activities to ensure maximum service levels to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop a team of financial professionals to achieve sales objectives and operational standards.
  • Lead the development of new business relationships and capitalize on opportunities to enhance relationships with existing members and clients.
  • Effectively manage consumer loan and investment portfolios for your branches, ensuring compliance with sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Director, Retail Banking to prepare budgets, set sales objectives, and priorities, as well as operational standards for your team.
  • Manage all department activities to ensure compliance and maintain a coaching culture.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years related lending and formal leadership experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Working knowledge of investment-related products, credit union or other financial institution regulatory requirements, and legislative guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and evaluate performance standards, make independent decisions, and coach others to solve problems.
