Job Summary

Metal Tronics Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a permanent position. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
    • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
  • Welding Techniques
    • Apply ARC spot and laser welding techniques to meet production requirements.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Operate arc welding machines, soldering machines, and spot welding machines.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in an industrial setting with a focus on metal fabrication.
  • Physical Demands
    • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding is preferred.
  • Language and Communication
    • English language proficiency is required.
