Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to resolve issues and improve operations.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
Working Conditions
  • 1 to 2 people supervised
  • Permanent work term
  • English language required
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
