About the Role

Cash App is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Identity team. As a key member of our team, you will design, build, and support the core systems used to manage identity on Cash App.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable identity systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement an expanding roadmap
  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to support audits and implement regulatory controls
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support for our services

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software
  • Well-developed curiosity and ability to build creative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience working on systems where data consistency and availability is required
  • Strong communication skills and customer empathy
