Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Estate Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Professional Executor Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing professional estate, trust, and PoA files where ClearEstate is acting as agent for our trust partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage professional estate, trust, and PoA files, providing fiduciary services for these accounts.
  • Support all aspects of estate, trust, and PoA administration, including asset discovery and documents required for probate.
  • Work closely with our Customer Success Managers to manage relationships and communications with families/beneficiaries.
  • Assign tasks to our Junior Estate Professional team as needed.
  • Liaise with our trust partner to ensure prompt attention to account needs.
  • Document and make recommendations for discretionary decisions in accordance with governing documents, applicable legislation, and sound reason.
  • Act as a point of contact with external professionals, such as notaries, lawyers, and tax accountants.
  • Communicate with government agencies, financial institutions, and other third parties.
  • Perform research as needed.
  • Collaborate with your team and assist with client requests and other related tasks.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current estate and trust-related strategies and processes.
Requirements

  • Passion for technology and estate planning.
  • Knowledge of wills and estates area.
  • STEP certification in Estates and Trust administration is an asset.
