Job Title: Senior Estate Planning Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estate Planning Advisor to join our team at National Bank Financial (NBF). As a key member of our client advice center, you will work closely with our estate planning specialists (lawyers and notaries) to provide expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement estate planning strategies for high net worth clients
  • Collaborate with lawyers and notaries to prepare complex files and analyze legal documents
  • Provide expert advice on inheritance, retirement, and taxation matters
  • Manage multiple files with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and maintain a high level of professionalism
Requirements:
  • Member of the Chambre des Notaires du Québec or the Barreau
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of estate planning concepts, probate, trusts, and administration of property of others
  • Strong legal writing skills and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively
Desired Skills:
  • Master's degree in taxation
  • Experience in a trust company or portfolio management company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment
