About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Jayveer Enterprise Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate installation of steel studs and other building materials in accordance with building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation of steel studs and other building materials.
  • Prepare Layouts: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements and installation.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure accurate installation.
  • Build Foundations and Install Roof Systems: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a sturdy and secure structure.
  • Install Windows, Doors, and Hardware: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a safe and functional building.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe work environment by wearing steel-toed safety boots and adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
