About Home Concierge:
Home Concierge is dedicated to delivering tailored assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Established in 2019, we are a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization, led by a team of innovative leaders committed to redefining service excellence in the private-pay home care sector.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Care Companion, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the elderly individuals you assist feel connected and valued. You will facilitate daily living activities, which may include light cleaning, meal preparation, and engaging in social interactions. Each support plan will be customized to align with the unique preferences and requirements of the client.
Note: Hours are not guaranteed and are offered on a casual, as-needed basis.
Compensation: $17.85 per hour
Position Details:
- Casual employment
- Potential for full-time hours
- Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week is required
Benefits Include:
- Mobile Stipend
- Quarterly Retention Bonus of $250

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and non-medical services that enhance the quality of life for seniors
- Assist with meal preparation, laundry, changing bedding, and general cleaning tasks
- Engage seniors in tailored activities
- Accompany seniors to appointments or grocery shopping (transportation will be arranged)
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with and support seniors – prior caregiving experience is advantageous
- Effective communication skills, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities
- Capability to independently resolve sensitive issues
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
- Must possess a smartphone and be comfortable using applications
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
- Compliance with provincial infectious disease screening and immunization requirements
- Valid G class driver's license and automobile insurance
- Familiarity with resources in the retirement sector is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Physical capability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift various objects up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week
