Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to support the management of inbound and outbound warehouse traffic. This role will involve planning, coordinating, and facilitating the transportation of finished goods, as well as managing the timely delivery to third-party locations and estate wineries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate transportation of finished goods to ensure timely delivery to third-party locations and estate wineries.
  • Work with transport carriers to meet daily shipping schedules and ensure efficient logistics.
  • Monitor and coordinate daily components receiving schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate daily inbound courier and miscellaneous supplier deliveries to support warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate finished goods and component transfers between branch plants to optimize inventory management.
  • Complete daily transfer transactions in our enterprise resource planning system.
  • Report daily discrepancies to the inventory team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and track delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery and meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Advanced communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including database and computer software.
  • Advanced ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Compensation

The budgeted range for this role is $46,090 - $52,392, taking into account factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our total rewards offering, which includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.
