Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing team by assisting with technical drawings, inspections, and communication between departments. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, computer literacy, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Manufacturing: Assist the Manufacturing Engineer with technical drawings and inspections, conduct physical and visual inspections of parts and equipment, and perform material and chemical bond inspections.
  • Communication and Efficiency: Promote regular communication to enhance group efficiencies and manage production performance, act as the contact person between manufacturing, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Administrative and Coordination Tasks: Validate purchase requisitions, maintain project schedules, and support communication and organization within the team, conduct special analytical studies, review performance, and communicate expectations to management.
  • Project and Process Support: Aid in project routing and processing, including fabrication, welding, and other manufacturing processes, build and maintain project plans, lead planning sessions, coordinate resources, manage progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing/fabrication shop
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Computer literacy is required
