LOCATION:

ROLE OVERVIEW:
New Virginia Majority is seeking a Regional Field Director to oversee its compensated voter engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The Regional Field Director will report directly to the Statewide Field Director and Political Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Regional Field Director will be tasked with recruiting, training, and supervising a team of leads and canvassers to achieve annual voter outreach objectives. This role requires consistent reporting and meticulous data management, alongside the implementation of quality assurance practices within regional programs. Administrative responsibilities, including schedule management and employee time tracking, are essential. The Regional Field Director will also promote leadership, align with NVM's core values, and foster a positive and professional workplace culture.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Competitive candidates for the Regional Field Director position must be goal-oriented and possess experience in field or electoral organizing. Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing a large team are crucial. Familiarity with VAN and similar voter outreach tools is highly preferred. Additional required skills include:

  1. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  2. At least 2 years of experience managing a successful field team
  3. Proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and related software
  4. Ability to work irregular or extended hours during peak periods
  5. Capacity to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  6. Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  7. Self-motivated and capable of independent work
  8. Alignment with NVM's mission and values

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This full-time position is eligible for NVM's comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as monthly allowances for phone and transportation. The annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience, and includes an excellent benefits package covering health, vision, and dental. The Regional Field Director is responsible for personal travel arrangements and local housing. NVM and its affiliated organizations cover 100% of individual costs and 75% of family costs for medical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance for full-time employees. Additionally, we offer family and medical leave, paid parental leave, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, accruable vacation and sick leave, and flexible work options.
