About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Araujo Custom Stone and Landscaping. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to create beautiful and durable structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to create walls, patios, and other structures.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their appearance and integrity.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces to ensure durability and longevity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry construction.
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment

As a Masonry Specialist at Araujo Custom Stone and Landscaping, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and in a physically demanding environment.
