About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at S.P.R. MASONRY INC. as a Construction Craftsman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality masonry work on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Bricks and Blocks: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to build structures, walls, and other architectural features.
  • Constructing Masonry Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, such as brick veneer, to provide a durable and attractive finish.
  • Working at Heights: Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete masonry tasks.
  • Cutting and Trimming: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Restoring and Cleaning: Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their appearance and integrity.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced construction environment, often in outdoor conditions. You will be required to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks that demand accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry work.
  • Work Setting: Construction, repair, renovation, commercial, and residential projects.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
