Job Title: Clinical Trial Coordinator-Finance

At CCA Fortrea Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trial Coordinator-Finance to join our team. As a key member of our clinical trial team, you will be responsible for site payments and budget negotiations, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, negotiate, and maintain site-level budgets to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Track and report site payments and budget negotiations updates to ensure start-up and maintenance deliverables are completed within agreed project timelines.
  • Understand client expectations for deliverables/milestones and liaise with applicable functional teams to create and modify site payment/budget timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee budget approval status and coordinate addressing queries to ensure required timelines are met.
  • Calculate and execute payments to investigators, vendors, grants, and other stakeholders as applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to financial and compliance procedures, identifying and escalating non-compliance to line manager and/or applicable client representatives.
  • Maintain tracking tools and attend internal meetings to communicate updates and ensure effective collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Completed job training or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as office management, administration, finance, or healthcare.
  • Good understanding of Global, Country/Regional Clinical Research Guidelines and ability to work within these guidelines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and ICH-GCP Knowledge appropriate to the role.
  • Fluent in French and English (verbal and written) and excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office and clinical IT applications, with strong MS Excel skills required.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, effective time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
