Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Executive Leader to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As the Executive Vice President of Technology and Operations, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to allocate resources and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions, ensuring effective leadership and management.
  • Formulate and approve policies and programs to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and executive staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Manage events and projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees, promoting growth and development.
  • Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a consulting firm or government organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful organizational policies and programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
