At SWISS CHALET NEWMARKET, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
