We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Koch Flooring Inc. as a Floor Covering Installer.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the flooring industry
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
Work Environment:

This role requires working in an industrial and residential setting, with a focus on installing flooring in various locations.
