About the Role

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination, effective communication, and a patient-centered approach.
  • Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Implement protocols to prevent accidents, ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Safeguard medications, narcotics, and supplies, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document Resident Information: Accurately record and maintain resident information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, strong written and verbal English communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and Competencies: Familiarity with the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
