  • Monitor compliance with legislative and contractual obligations of service providers, implementing risk management strategies to ensure financial accountability.
  • Provide recommendations and develop action plans for service providers that do not meet required standards.
  • Engage with applicants, tenants, and stakeholders with professionalism, demonstrating effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Support capacity building within the community housing sector by advising service providers on program and financial administration.
  • Collaborate with auditors, engineers, and legal representatives to address service delivery and compliance matters.
  • Formulate and propose policies, management practices, and performance measures to enhance program delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive project management experience with a proven ability to handle complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder relations experience with a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Significant experience in administering housing programs and grants within a legislative accountability framework.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate staff, conduct performance evaluations, and handle labor relations.
  • Experience in analyzing financial and non-financial data to assess program outcomes against established metrics.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and prepare presentations.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate sensitive issues with diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in using electronic spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
