Job Title: R&D Engineer/Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer/Chemist to join our team at Sika Canada Inc. in Brantford, Ontario.

About the Role:

As an R&D Engineer/Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities to support the production of high-quality construction materials. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing new technologies and processes to improve product performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments to test the properties and behavior of various materials and chemicals.
  • Develop and implement new formulations and manufacturing processes to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that research and development activities align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, procedures, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical/Materials/Civil), or a related field.
  • Work experience in research and quality control, preferably in a related field.
  • Fluent in English; oral and written. Bilingual English/French considered an asset.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
