We're seeking a skilled Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local business community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote insurance products to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to clients on insurance coverage
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance services
Requirements:
- Insurance broker license or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided)
- 2-3 years of commercial and/or personal lines insurance experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
