Novointegrated has been a pioneering and forward-thinking entity in the Eldercare sector for over two decades, delivering occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and assistive devices program services (ADP) to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, and community-based settings across Ontario. Our management team, composed of experienced clinicians, is dedicated to supporting our onsite professionals.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist/ADP Authorizer to deliver services in various home settings.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for geriatrics and eldercare, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality resident care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and treatments for residents.
  • Collaborate with vendors and family members to complete ADP assessments and applications.
  • Document relevant clinical data, progress reports, and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical insights and recommendations for resident management to ensure optimal care quality.
  • Assist residents in developing, recovering, or maintaining their mobility and daily living skills.

Qualifications:

  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Certified ADP (Assistive Device Program) Authorizer.
  • Experience in eldercare as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care and familiarity with RAI-MDS and Point Click Care is advantageous.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the last year).
  • 2 Step TB Test (within the last year).
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Schedule: 6 hours every other week, totaling 12 hours per month.
