We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Nicola Lodge Care Community.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident status to the Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Practical Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
  • Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification.
  • Current First Aid with CPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Long Term Care Experience.
