We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Invex Foods Canada Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality control, and driving productivity improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including labourers, process control operators, and machine operators.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Productivity Improvement: Analyze production data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Staff Development: Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food and beverage processing, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with potential for noise.
- Work Setting: Fruit and vegetable processing plant.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and reliable.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
