Job Title: PPS & RPAA Regulatory Compliance, Lead

We're seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Lead to join our Risk Management team. As a subject matter expert, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of PPS and RPAA regulatory compliance activities, including self-assessments and final report development.
  • Provide risk and regulatory compliance expertise to Interac business segments, ensuring alignment with Bank of Canada risk management standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on PPS and RPAA regulatory guidelines and requirements, as well as industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain Interac's PPS and RPAA Compliance Framework, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess PPS and RPAA regulatory compliance issues, identifying and addressing resultant gaps and issues.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to complete BAU PPS and RPAA regulatory compliance activities, including BoC Core Assurance Reviews and RPAA related reviews/audits.
  • Communicate effectively with executive and Board-level stakeholders, providing regular updates on regulatory compliance status.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience, with significant experience in regulatory reporting and compliance (at least 7 years' experience managing a regulatory compliance process).
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for risk management and controls.
  • Knowledge of payments technology and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
