Position Overview:

The Linehaul Driver is responsible for transporting goods to and from customer locations while ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles, including tractor-trailers and shunt trucks. This role involves adhering to service level agreements and working in shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods to and from designated locations.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight to/from warehouses and customer sites.
  • Collaborate with Dispatch to resolve any issues encountered on the road.
  • Perform loading and unloading of freight at customer locations.
  • Scan freight during pickup and delivery processes.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips.

Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Class 1 driving.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in GPS tracking systems.

Working Conditions: This position involves working in a warehouse environment and on the road.
