Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to enhance our Financial Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of proactive cost management, transparency, and optimization concerning public cloud expenditures.
Your Role Will Include:
Promoting the adoption of Cloud Financial Operations capabilities and best practices throughout the organization.Establishing cost management processes, mechanisms, and controls to ensure ongoing cost transparency and governance.Communicating the value of public cloud adoption use cases to both business and technology teams.Providing commercial insights and deal economics support for strategic vendor partnerships.Identifying cost-saving and optimization opportunities while collaborating with the technology team for execution support.Tracking cost optimization initiatives and their associated value.Managing vendor commercial incentives, including Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.
Qualifications:
Experience in a technology department with a focus on commercial and financial management.Understanding of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts.Familiarity with public cloud cost management tools and mechanics.Experience in financial analysis, working with large datasets, and creating data-driven executive materials.Proven ability to deliver presentation content to business and technology stakeholders.Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a large organization.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in effective IT cost management strategies and processes.Knowledge of business chargeback models and total cost of ownership.Ability to articulate public cloud migration economics and benefits to business and technology executives.Experience with cost management tools such as Cost Explorer and understanding of cloud billing processes.FinOps or TBM certifications.

This role is crucial for supporting the establishment and implementation of FinOps practices across the organization, aimed at achieving efficient public cloud cost management.
The FinOps capabilities are designed to ensure that public cloud investments yield maximum business value through robust cost transparency, optimization, and financial controls.
You will assist in maintaining existing reporting processes and contribute to developing new capabilities for both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with various teams across the technology organization.
