Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Prime Time Donair and Poutine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 food service staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
