Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll for North American and international employees on a semi-monthly and monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain Payroll Compliance Certification (PCP).
  • Handle high-volume payroll processing across multiple provinces and states.
  • Support payroll processing in European regions as needed.
  • Utilize HCM and payroll systems effectively, including BambooHR and Bluemarble.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Prepare year-end reconciliations and assist with annual audits.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to manage employee benefit plans and liaise with various vendors.
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly reports to assist the finance department.
  • Conduct benefits billing reconciliation between providers and payroll/HR records.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations on government remittances.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both employees and vendors.
  • Potentially expand responsibilities into treasury activities such as cash management and procurement.
