About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Home and Electronics Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a key member of our retail team, you will provide exceptional sales and customer service to our unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and maintenance of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments
  • Provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered
  • Assist with ordering stock and ensuring shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed
  • Explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories
  • Provide a variety of other retail services, including dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services
  • Operate Point of Sales systems, debit/credit machines, and maintain a float
  • Take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas
Requirements
  • Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in electronics, computers, equipment, furniture, and appliances
  • Experience in selling extended warranty and accessories
  • Experience in cash handling and sales and merchandising
  • Food Handling Certification, as required
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
  • Bilingual (English and French) Essential
