About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Arup. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing expert cost and schedule analysis and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project controls plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Monitor and analyze project progress, identifying and mitigating potential issues and delays.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide expert advice on cost and schedule analysis, including earned value management and resource planning.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using Primavera 6 and other project management tools.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and improve project controls processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience with project management software, including Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Basic knowledge of business finance and accounting principles.
